Cancellation Policy
Effective date:
You can cancel your subscription at any time, entirely online, with no phone call required. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to paid features continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
1. How to cancel
- Sign in and open Account → Billing.
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm. You will be taken to Stripe's secure customer portal, where the cancellation is completed — no phone call or email required.
2. When it takes effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (cancel_at_period_end). You retain paid features until that date and are not charged again afterwards. Your account automatically moves to the free tier.
3. Your final charge
Any charge shown before you cancel is your final charge for that period. If you cancel before a trial converts, you will not be charged at conversion.
4. Confirmation
After you confirm, paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period, and you can check your subscription status on the billing page at any time. When the period ends and the subscription terminates, we send you a subscription status email.
5. EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. Because PDFLean begins providing the service immediately, we ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement that you lose the withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed. To exercise the right, email support@pdflean.com; we provide a durable confirmation of receipt.
