Executive Summary

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. This page explains how to report allegedly infringing content hosted on PDFLean and how we handle repeat infringers.

1. Designated agent

Copyright complaints should be sent to our designated agent at legal@pdflean.com. Where required by applicable law, we maintain a registered DMCA agent with the United States Copyright Office.

2. Filing a takedown notice

Your notice must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL or other location of the allegedly infringing material; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was lawful, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@pdflean.com containing the information required by applicable law. We may restore the content unless the original complainant files a court action after receiving the counter-notice.

4. Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content may be suspended or terminated. We keep records of notices and actions for transparency and to comply with the EU Digital Services Act where applicable.
