About this tool

No accounts, no uploads, no watermarks — just the operation you came for. Overlay or underlay official letterheads, templates and stationery onto your PDF pages with customizable opacity and page ranges. Private and fully client-side. Processing runs locally in your browser's memory — the document is never transmitted, and closing the tab clears it completely. The workflow is deliberately short: load the file, choose the options on the page, run the operation, and save the result. Every choice is applied before the file is written, so re-running with different settings takes seconds. Supported templates include PDF, PNG, and JPG; outputs a new PDF. Practical limits apply (see the on-page limits); it pairs well with the related tools linked beside this page when one step is not the whole job. Key facts — Processing: runs entirely in your browser, client-side; Access: free with no account required; File limits: see the on-page limits; Privacy: the file never leaves the device.

FAQ

What is the difference between Underlay and Overlay?

Underlay places your template behind existing content, ideal for corporate letterheads. Overlay places the template on top of existing content, ideal for official stamps, headers, and seals.

Can I apply the letterhead only to the first page?

Yes! Simply select 'First Page Only' to stamp the official header on page 1 while leaving following pages untouched.

Must overlay templates be PDF, or are images supported too?

Both single-page PDF templates and high-resolution PNG/JPG images are supported for letterheads, stamps, or security watermarks.

How are differences in paper size between the template and content handled?

The template automatically fills the full dimensions of the target page (multiple alignment strategies are not supported); creating templates with the same aspect ratio as target pages is recommended.

Can I adjust the opacity of the overlaid letterhead or watermark?

Yes. Opacity is adjustable from 10% to 100% in 5% steps, letting you blend watermarks or logos smoothly without impairing document legibility.
