What is it?PDF Page Size Checker is a PDFLean local analysis tool: Check each PDF page's paper size in millimetres, detect A4/Letter standards, and flag mixed page sizes.

TL;DR: Check each PDF page's paper size in millimetres, detect A4/Letter standards, and flag mixed page sizes. Everything runs locally in your browser — your file is never uploaded; matching uses a 2pt tolerance and non-standard sizes are labeled Custom.

About this tool

This tool does one job and does it entirely on your device. Check each PDF page's paper size in millimetres, detect A4/Letter standards, and flag mixed page sizes. Processing runs locally in your browser's memory — the document is never transmitted, and closing the tab clears it completely. The workflow is deliberately short: load the file, choose the options on the page, run the operation, and save the result. Every choice is applied before the file is written, so re-running with different settings takes seconds. Practical limits apply (see the on-page limits); it pairs well with the related tools linked beside this page when one step is not the whole job. Key facts — Processing: runs entirely in your browser, client-side; Access: free with no account required; File limits: see the on-page limits; Privacy: the file never leaves the device.

FAQ

Will my file be uploaded?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser — your file is never uploaded.

Are there any limits?

Matching uses a 2pt tolerance; non-standard sizes are labeled Custom.

How are standard paper sizes matched?

The tool reads each page's MediaBox dimensions in millimeters and matches them with a 2pt tolerance against standard formats like A0–A6, B4/B5, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, and Executive; unmatched sizes are labeled as Custom.

Can I process multiple files in bulk?

A single tool page handles one task at a time; for bulk work use the Batch Processing workflow and add this tool as a step to run a whole set at once.

Is the processed file still editable?

This tool is a read-only analyzer that displays paper dimensions without modifying your PDF; you can also export the inspection report as JSON for record-keeping, and your original document remains completely untouched.
