FAQ
Is my file safe?
Your original PDF is never uploaded. Text is extracted locally in your browser, and only the extracted text is sent over an encrypted channel for entity recognition, auto-deleted within 24 hours, and never used for AI training.
Are there any limits?
Requires the server-side NER model (NER_CMD); only text layers are scanned, so scanned files require OCR first; outputs structured JSON.
Is the protection strong enough?
Text extraction runs locally in your browser, while identification is performed by server-side NER. Only extracted plain text is transmitted over an encrypted channel and deleted within 24 hours (never used for AI training); the original PDF file is never uploaded.
Can I process multiple files in bulk?
A single tool page handles one task at a time; for bulk work use the Batch Processing workflow and add this tool as a step to run a whole set at once.
Is the processed file still editable?
This tool only identifies sensitive entities and outputs structured JSON without modifying your file. Your original document remains untouched and fully editable.
